" Those left behind " is a game about exploring a long forgotten city whose architectural style fits in an exaggerated  version of brutalism. People still inhabit this place and are split into little colonies dotted about the place, some live down in the slums, other live high up above on the rooftops. 

I felt like a setting like this would work within the given theme, not every forgotten civilization has to be high fantasy, it can be as simple as a town from our world, long forgotten by time.

My main inspiration for the theming is the indie game BABBDI, other inspirations include Hollow knight, Silksong and Nine sols.
